The Wanderer’s Reason is shaped from solid walnut and crowned with a seat caned entirely by hand using kangaroo lace ~ a technique so rare it borders on extinct, and in this form, has never been done before. Thirty hours of weaving, tensioning, and lacing brought the pattern to life, replacing traditional cane with leather to create a surface as smooth as butter and unlike anything man-made or machine-made.
 
Sturdy in stance and gentle in posture, the stool widens at the front, offering comfort and intention. An integrated footrest grounds the sitter in a moment of ease ~ a place of pause, reflection, and quiet presence.
