Terms & Conditions

Welcome to With the Grain. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) guide how you use our website and purchase our handcrafted pieces. By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms — much like we agree to uphold the standards of craftsmanship in every piece we make.

Who We Serve
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By doing so, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

The Nature of Our Work
Every item is crafted by hand. Natural variations in wood grain, cane, leather, stone, or finish are part of the story of the piece and not considered defects. When you purchase from us, you are choosing something one-of-a-kind.

Orders & Payments
Prices are listed in dollars and may change as materials and craft demand.
Payment must be received before we begin processing your order.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order if fraud or misuse is suspected.

Shipping & Delivery
Shipping costs and estimated times are shared at checkout.
Once shipped, responsibility for the package passes to you.

Delays caused by carriers or customs are out of our hands, though we’ll always do our best to help.

Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns of standard (non-custom) pieces within [insert timeframe, e.g., 14 days] if they are unused and in their original condition.
~ Custom or personalized works are final sale, as they are made specifically for you.
~ To request a return, please contact us at withthegrain.lc@gmail.com

 Intellectual Property
Our designs, product descriptions, and photographs are part of our craft. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.

Responsibility & Limits
Our pieces are built with care and intended for everyday use. However, we are not liable for damages that go beyond the purchase price of the item itself.

 Sustainability & Ethical Craft
Our craft is tied to the natural world. We source materials responsibly, using reclaimed wood, heritage techniques, and sustainable practices whenever possible. Each purchase supports an approach to making that honors tradition, minimizes waste, and respects the environments we draw from.

Governing Law
These Terms are guided by the laws of The Common Wealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wayne County

Updates to Terms
Just as our collections evolve, these Terms may also be updated. When they are, the changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
